WORKING GROUPS
In addition to our geographically-based branches, IE DSA has multiple member-led working groups that focus on specific issues. You can find each working group’s meetings and events on the main chapter calendar.
IE DSA Labor
The Labor Committee supports workers in the Inland Empire.
Our primary goal is organizing workers across various industries, with a special emphasis on the essential logistics industry, in addition to providing support and guidance to workers who want to organize their workplaces.
Political Education
The Political Education Committee (PEC) is responsible for the the educational development of socialists in our chapter.
To that end, PEC hosts monthly events, including Book Clubs, Socialist Night School Courses, discussions on current events, and Political Education Events at our General Meetings.
Red Rabbits
The Red Rabbits Working Group are concerned with the digital and physical safety of our chapter’s members and coalition partners.
Currently, IE DSA’s Red Rabbits are focused on building and maintaining safety practices around digital information, protests, and collaborating with other local DSA’s and organizations on Street Medic Training.
Red Rabbits are always seeking out coordination on safety training opportunities for chapter members.
Socialist Media Team
The Socialist Media Team (SMT) seeks to use a variety of digital communication platforms to connect with our community, produce high quality content, and create cohesive chapter messaging.IE
IE DSA’s SMT works with digital tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva to create bold and informative artwork and other agit-prop content.
