Book Club: Women, Race, and Class Session #2
June 1, 2026 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
IEDSA Political Education Committee is hosting a Book Club where we will be discussing Angela Davis’ Women, Race, and Class every other Monday starting at 7pm on Zoom. Book Club will be an hour long and is open to the public, you do not have to have done the reading to attend.
There will be five sessions starting May 18th, where we will go over chapters one and two. June 1st we will go over chapters three, four, and five. June 15th will cover chapters six, seven and eight. June 29th will cover chapters nine, ten and eleven. Lastly July 13th will cover chapters twelve and thirteen.

This will be our second session where we’ll be getting into defining the roles and powers of Chapter Groups, Officers, the Steering Committee, Endorsements and more.

The session is interactive and includes small breakout discussions, so you’ll have a chance to share your interests, talk with other members, and learn about different ways to plug into the chapter.
