Joz Sida is a community organizer and long-time DSA member who believes Fontana deserves leadership that puts people before profits. Her platform is rooted in justice, dignity and opportunity for all – stopping warehouse and data center development, increasing accessibility to town hall meetings and public services, and investing in affordable housing.

She is challenging a 16-year Republican incumbent who is allied with MAGA and the warehouse lobbies.

Joe Alvanez is running for Fontana City Clerk with a focus on organized public records, accessible election information, responsive service, and better use of technology. He believes residents should be able to find city information easily, understand how decisions are made, and know where to go when they need answers.

Joe brings an IT mindset to the Clerk’s office, with a focus on organization, data protection, and better online tools. The goal is simple: make city information easier to find, understand, and use.

Donald Trump’s massive cuts to federal healthcare funding puts millions of Californians at risk of losing their access to healthcare. His billionaire supporters are spending enormous sums to control our democracy on behalf of profit over people.

For too long, working families in CA have struggled to get by while billionaires amass more profit and buy more influence in our political system.

IE DSA Endorses a ‘YES’ vote on Propositions 3 & 40, and a ‘NO’ vote on 41 & 42
