Nichelle M. Henderson is a proud educator and union leader running to promote progressive education as California’s State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Michelle believes that standardized testing has been grossly misused to determine student proficiency of our state’s educational standards.
Nichelle is the only candidate who has fought against AB 715, the “Don’t Say Palestine” bill that attacks academic freedom, free speech, and Pro-Palestinian advocacy. Additionally, Nichelle will fight to protect trans schoolchildren by opposing any and all mandatory reporting.
