Workers at Birdcage Comics Cafe have announced a strike! We urge our members, supporters and the community at large to not cross the picket line.
IE DSA cannot condone further support of Birdcage Comics until the workers’ demands of a safe and non-abusive work environment are met.
IE DSA affirms our support for the Birdcage employees strike action, and are ready to extend any aid at our disposal to their organizing efforts.
If and when any fundraisers for the striking workers is available, we will share it as soon as possible.
