Last week, IE DSA sent 7 delegates to Chicago for DSA’s 2025 National Convention, the highest decision-making body of our organization.
We had an absolute blast! It was so inspiring to meet comrades from different chapters across the country, who are all fighting tirelessly to construct a better world every single day.
Delegates participated in our internal democracy, elected new leadership and charted DSA’s course for the next two years.
We also turned DSA into the largest Anti-Zionist organization in the US!!!
At the end of our trip, we visited the Haymarket Martyrs Monument, to remember all of those whose shoulders we stand upon.
We’re incredibly excited to bring what we learned back home to the IE, and recommit ourselves to the fight against ICE, against Trump, for a Free Palestine, and for a socialist future.
