We are so proud of our community making their voic We are so proud of our community making their voices heard and getting BERC to cancel their CBP hiring event!!

The folks at BERC have remembered their commitment to Riverside county residents by listening to those they're meant to serve, proving that people working TOGETHER to apply PRESSURE on these structure meant for the Common Good delivers tangible RESULTS.

To quote a resolution passed by Moreno Valley City Council, “Immigrant residents, [no matter their status], are valued and integral members of our social, cultural and economic fabric.” Thank you to all who joined the fight in showing up for each other and ensuring that folks can utilize vital county services while still feeling safe. Join IE DSA today to help ensure continued community care! 🌹
We are calling on our community to reject and shut We are calling on our community to reject and shut down any attempt to bring Customs and Border Protection or Immigration and Customs Enforcement into our city under the guise of “employment opportunities.”
Let’s be clear. Don’t take this job. These agencies are responsible for tearing families apart, targeting our neighbors, and enforcing a system built on fear and displacement. There is nothing neutral about that work.
The Moreno Valley Business and Employment Resource Center has already shown it is susceptible to community pressure by removing this event from both its link tree and its Instagram. That is a step but it is not enough. As a publicly funded institution, BERC has a responsibility to serve the people of this city, not collaborate with agencies that harm them.
We are not against BERC. We are against CBP and ICE being welcomed into our community in any capacity. The correct course of action is clear. Cancel this event immediately, uninvite CBP from the scheduled tabling on 4/30, and commit to never hosting these recruiters again.
We stand in solidarity with immigrants in our community. Moreno Valley is our home and our neighbors will not be targeted without resistance.

Contact BERC and make your voice heard.

Phone: 951-413-3920
Email: berc@moval.org

Tell them to cancel this event, uninvite CBP from 4/30, and cut ties with CBP and ICE.
If the community is ignored, we will make sure we are heard.
On April 1st, IE DSA took the line in solidarity w On April 1st, IE DSA took the line in solidarity with Amazon Teamsters at ONT1 over the unjust firing of Andy, a fellow Amazon worker from DJT6.
For over 6 hours, the picket line held. Deliveries were shut down, and trucks backed up down the streets, a clear display of worker power.

This is how we force concessions and defend ourselves against illegal retaliation. Workers fight back.

Worker power is built through organizing. United we bargain, divided we beg.

IE DSA stands in firm solidarity with Amazon workers and all workers fighting exploitation under capitalism.

NO BILLIONAIRES, NO BOMBS, NO KINGS! On March 28t NO BILLIONAIRES, NO BOMBS, NO KINGS!

On March 28th, IE DSA members joined local No Kings rallies across the Inland Empire, including Fontana, Riverside, Temecula, and several other cities.

Against the backdrop of brutal anti-immigrant and anti-trans violence, preparation for election suppression at home, and deadly wars abroad, community members took to the streets to refuse the supposed absolute rule of President Trump and his cronies.

IE DSA tabled not only in defiance of this administration's rule, but also to educate fellow protesters and encourage them to keep fighting. We must always advocate for a better future, whether that is today, tomorrow, or long after this administration is gone.

The fight is not yet over! Continue the movement with IE DSA and our vision of shared liberation for all.
An incredible feat. On Friday, March 27th, members An incredible feat. On Friday, March 27th, members of the Labor Committee banded together to host our FIRST Socialist Job Fair.

Guided by the experience of organizers from DSA Philly, Austin, and others in the National Labor Committee, Inland Empire coordinated with unions all around Riverside & San Bernardino Counties to plan this event. The end result was greater than folks could have ever anticipated.

Over 70 people showed up and met with different labor organizers to get involved with apprenticeships, educational programs, and union job placement programs. Many of these programs are cheap and even free.

The IE DSA Labor Committee hopes to see anybody with FOMO at the next one!
On March 14th, IE DSA members joined protestors in On March 14th, IE DSA members joined protestors in solidarity with all those held at the Adelanto ICE processing center.

Built on former state prison grounds, Adelanto has been the site of multiple human rights violations and at least two deaths this year.

Detention centers are not simply processing centers. They are for-profit prison facilities that profit from the illegal incarceration of immigrants, all the while Adelanto’s operator, The GEO Group, reported expanded contracts totaling up to $520 million in new incremental annualized revenue in 2025.

Isolation is fundamental to systemic oppression. We must stand firmly with immigrant communities and their families while demanding the immediate closure of detention facilities, an end to inhumane and unsanitary conditions, and an end to the relentless rain of ICE operations nationwide.

NO ONE is illegal on stolen land. Join IE DSA TODAY in our collective pursuit of justice for all and participate in upcoming actions with our Immigration and Justice Committee. Link in bio.
IE DSA denounces the unlawful firing of Andy, a DJ IE DSA denounces the unlawful firing of Andy, a DJT6 Amazon warehouse worker.

An injury to one is the concern of all. Standing together, fellow warehouse workers walked out in protest alongside Teamsters during critical parts of production and were later joined by IE DSA members in solidarity.

Laborers are the organs of our working communities. Yet warehouse workers continue to toil in unsafe conditions with unfair compensation, all while Amazon generates billions of dollars in revenue each year.

Workers have a legally protected right to unionize and to demand better pay, safer workplaces, and collective power over their labor.

Workers of the world, unite! Join IE DSA’s Labor Committee and our struggle to support local workers. When we stand together, we will win against big corporations.
