NO WAR ON IRAN! DISMANTLE THE WAR MACHINE AND END NO WAR ON IRAN! DISMANTLE THE WAR MACHINE AND END US IMPERIALISM!

Early yesterday morning the United States and Israel unleashed a series of airstrikes on Tehran in a joint-operation. One of these targeted an all-girls elementary school, murdering 85 people, 40 of which were children. This a wholy unjustified attack of Iranians and a needless escalation of aggression.

Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran - like many other nations - have faced US intervention for decades, funded by billions of tax dollars. Dollars that could instead be spent funding healthcare, infrastructure, green energy, public transport, and childcare services.

We at IE DSA stand in solidarity with Iran. We demand that those in power divest from yet another forever war and instead invest in our communities and people. We demand an end to US imperialism and the exploitation it thrives off of, and the liberation of all the workers of the world.

In honor of the late Marxist Historian Michael Par In honor of the late Marxist Historian Michael Parenti, join IE DSA in watching the classic 1986 lecture: “US interventionism, the 3rd world, and the USSR”, or colloquially known as the Yellow Parenti lecture.

“These countries are not underdeveloped; they’re overexploited”, still rings true when looking at the conditions of the global south today. Parenti explains topics passionately and with an approachable simplicity that makes this lecture a must watch for those getting introduced to socialist concepts, as well as a wonderful refresher for those who have already read his work.

The recent release of the Epstein Files confirms w The recent release of the Epstein Files confirms what socialists have long argued: extreme wealth and power create the conditions for abuse, exploitation, and impunity.

Epstein’s network reached into the highest levels of global elites—spanning industries, political parties, and borders. This wasn’t an isolated scandal or a few “bad actors,” but a reflection of a capitalist system that concentrates power into the hands of the few.

When wealth is hoarded at the top, accountability disappears and this class of criminals is allowed to profit while treating people as disposable. These pedophiles and abusers are united by one thing: preserving a system that benefits them at everyone else’s expense.

Only an organized working class can challenge this imbalance and build a society rooted in dignity, democracy, and real accountability for all.
¡DEJEMOS A CUBA VIVIR! LET CUBA LIVE! The Trump A ¡DEJEMOS A CUBA VIVIR! LET CUBA LIVE!

The Trump Administration has blocked all new fuel from entering Cuba since December, threatening the island with a severe food and energy crisis.

For decades, the US government has starved Cuba with brutal sanctions and economic warfare. The Cuban people chose solidarity over subjugation, and continue to be punished for it.

IE DSA condemns the inhuman blockade against Cuba. As Donald Trump’s belligerence in Latin America escalates, It’s up to us in the U.S to organize and demand an END to the blockade!

¡Cuba Sí, Bloqueo No!

February 2026 marks 100 years of Black History Mon February 2026 marks 100 years of Black History Month.

The struggle for Black liberation in the U.S. has always been deeply intertwined with movements for socialism, labor rights, and collective freedom.

This month and always, we honor heroes of Black self-determination, dignity, and liberation:

Rosa Parks
Malcolm X
Martin Luther King Jr.
Marsha P. Johnson
Harriet Tubman
Paul Robeson
Fannie Lou Hamer
Assata Shakur
Fred Hampton
James Boggs
Harry Haywood
Maya Angelou
Ella Baker
Langston Hughes

This list is incomplete. Countless organizers, thinkers, artists, and everyday people shaped these struggles, and much of their work cannot be captured here. We honor them all.
Black liberation is not history. It is a living struggle.
Last week, IE DSA joined allies, workers and commu Last week, IE DSA joined allies, workers and community members in Riverside to show solidarity with immigrant communities and demand ICE OUT!

When workers come together and organize, we have the power to shut this whole system down until ICE is abolished. We echo the call for a National General Strike, and we will continue organizing and building that power here in the IE.

ICE out of our neighborhoods. ICE out of our workplaces. ICE out of our lives.
